Amanda Bossard, fresh out of Anchorage High School, in 1992 began her studies in marine biology. Bossard began her professional career in commercial seafood in 1999, when she started working as a crew member on the F/V Sunset, a 65' halibut schooner turned to salmon tender with Murat Aritan. She has been who has been a commercial fisherman since 1993. Bossard has been married to Aritan and has joined their teams to take over their respective industries. They both believe in saving as well as profiting from natural resources that are used in the industry of seafood. Otolith, a wholesale direct seafood company, was established on the 7th of July 2007 Bella Bossard (age 3), Andre Bossard (1 year old) as well as Bossard's mom.
